Get the StreamLegit extension running, fix the most common issues, and find the right place to ask for help. These steps align with what we ship in the Chrome Web Store review build.

Quick start (Chrome extension)

Install the Chrome extension from the Web Store (once published) or use the manual build on the Downloads page.
Sign in or create your StreamLegit account.
Open the extension Options and add your Chaturbate username plus Stats & Events API tokens, then click Save.
Open your Chaturbate room in Chrome; the assistant injects automatically and will show live alerts.
Allow notifications and keep the tab open while you stream. Open the side panel or popup to view tips and fan messages.

Troubleshooting

Real-time events blocked: enable “Force polling fallback” in Options → Events API, then reload the Chaturbate tab.
No buttons or overlay: toggle the extension off/on in chrome://extensions and refresh the room tab.
Stale fan data: Options → Data Management → Clear cache (or Delete All Data if you want a reset).
Billing or usage looks wrong: open the Dashboard and use “Stripe customer portal” or refresh via the health cards.
Service health: check /status for API, webhook, and website uptime before filing a ticket.

If issues persist, include a timestamp, your Chaturbate username, and whether WebSocket or polling is active. This helps us pinpoint transport problems faster.

Permissions & privacy

The extension only runs on chaturbate.com and streamlegit.com, using storage for your tokens and settings. No browsing history is collected. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Billing & account

Manage plans and invoices through the dashboard’s Stripe customer portal link. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you can re-activate anytime.
